Traffic Violator School is conducted by Modesto Junior College in cooperation with local traffic courts. In some instances, traffic offenders may ask to attend traffic school in lieu of having the ticket count on their driving record. This eight-hour class covers safe vehicle operation, motor vehicle laws, the drinking driver, defensive driving, common causes of accidents, and vehicle maintenance. The object is to make each student more aware of his/her responsibilities as a driver and to create the desire to become a safe driver. If you cancel the class we must have 5 working days notice before the class date for you to receive a refund, minus a $20 processing fee. Also, if you transfer to another class and we have already made your certificate, there will be a $5 fee for the new certificate.
