Pharmacy Technician Training Program

Train for a
New Career
in 2009

The new Pharmacy Technician class will begin on September 8, 2009
You will receive over 600 hours of classroom and hands-on learning
260 hours of classroom time and 340 hours of externship at various facilities

Information Meetings
Thursday May 28 - 6:30 p.m., MJC East Campus, Forum Building, Room 101 OR

Wednesday, July 1 - 6:30 p.m., MJC East Campus, Forum Building, Room 101

To be considered for the program you must take and pass two tests:

Reading Requirement:
Student must have an AA degree or higher from a U.S. College OR you must take the MJC Reading Accuplacer test and obtain a score of 70 or higher OR successfully completed Reading 82 or higher with a "C" or higher.
Please Note: Your application will not be accepted for recommendation unless you have met these requirements, so it is highly recommended that you complete the assessment testing promptly.

Math - A math test using Pharmaceutical
Calculations (review pre-algebra - fractions, ratios, decimals, percentages) will be given - This exam will be scheduled closer to the application deadline. The dates, times and locations will be given at the information meetings. See below to download a sample math test.
